Creating Your Unique Wedding Ceremony

What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together to strengthen each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow, to share with each other in all gladness, and to be one with each other in the silent, unspeakable memories?
- George Eliot

Choosing Rev. Carrie MaKenna as your Wedding Minister means creating
a ceremony that reflects your unique vision, interests, values and beliefs.

Designing Your Wedding Ceremony.

To create your unique wedding ceremony, Rev. Carrie has a comprehensive portfolio of ceremonies, vows, blessings and readings to choose from. Look at her portfolio by clicking here.

  1. The process begins with a phone interview to assesses your unique needs and interests including:
    • date and time
    • number of guests and participants
    • style, theme, and location
    • budget considerations
Your non-refundable deposit secures your wedding date and time.

  2. Depending on your budget a personal meeting is arranged to choose additional elements for your wedding from a comprehensive portfolio of ceremonies. Your choices include:
    • a selection of basic ceremonies
    • vows and ring ceremonies
    • including children and family
    • readings and blessings
    • additional specialized ceremonies to integrate into your ceremony.
There are many selections from a variety of world spiritual traditions. You may also write your own vows.

Each ceremony has opportunities for the addition of music, readings by friends or family and any other ideas that will make your ceremony unique and memorable.

  3. After consulting with Rev. Carrie your ceremony is prepared and sent for your review by email. Any additions or changes are done by phone or email. You'll receive a beautiful copy of the final ceremony as a keepsake.

  4. You may also schedule Rev. Carrie for a rehearsal for an additional fee. Otherwise she will come to your wedding location about a half hour early to meet wedding participants and make last minute preparations.
